Computerized vision (computer vision) is an artificial intelligence subfield that allows computers to extract meaningful information from digital image and videos, comment and make decisions based on this information. Field; image classification to a specific category of an image, object detection, which determines the location and limits of objects within the image, assigning each pixel to a category of semantic dividends (segmentation) covers many subtasies such as motion recognition that a person recognizes the identity from the image and analyzes movement in video frames. While classical approaches are based on edge detection and hand-designed attributes, the root has changed from the field to show stunning achievements in large image data clusters (CNN) of deep-vaded nerve networks since 2012.
Nowadays, computerized vision systems are used in a wide range of applications, such as detecting objects, pedestrians and traffic signs in autonomous vehicles, detect tumor and abnormalities in medical imaging, automate quality control in production lines, make facial and motion recognition in security systems and making augmented reality applications with photo editing on smartphones possible. In addition to CNNs in the last period, Vision Transformer (ViT) architectures that apply attention mechanism to images have started to give competitive even superior results in many tasks.
